Several generous and thoughtful organizations are holding fundraising events this year, with all donations being made to the Christmas Bureau of the Columbia Valley.

Mark your calendar and donate to our very worthy cause. Because of the generous donations from businesses and individuals, we were able to make Christmas brighter for over 300 families in our valley last year! Without the support of so many people in our community, this could not happen.  Let’s make it a year to remember once again!

Canadian Tire will hold their annual toy drive from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Make a purchase in-store or bring a gift and place it in the RCMP vehicle which traditionally sits outside the door along with the Windermere Volunteer Fire Department – or you can make a cash donation.

Drop in and take a photo with Santa! Event takes place from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Invermere Legion. Donations gratefully accepted.

Drop in while celebrating Invermere Light Up and Santa Claus Parade to take a photo with Santa! Event takes place from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Invermere Legion. $10 per photo.

Red Apple is once again holding their “Fill a Sleigh” day. The fire engine will be on the grounds from 10:00 a.m.to 2:00 p.m for gift donations.

In addition, The Christmas Bureau receives a percentage of their sales, on all items, everyday beginning TBD and ending TBD. So plan to do some shopping at Red Apple between these dates. During this time you can also make a toy or cash donation.

Family Sponsors – If you are donating gift boxes/bags, they must be delivered to Angie at the Columbia Valley Centre in Invermere, BC on December 17, 2025 between 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon).

Applicants – Gift pick up is between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Make sure to bring your I.D. and the I.D. for everyone else listed on your application!
